Pennequin is a contemporary interpretation of a unique three-dimensional metal printing type for headlines that originates from the type library of Charles Pennequin, one of the early nineteenth century type foundries housed in Brussels.
Pennequin is part of the ‘Typo Belgiëque’-collection, a practice oriented scientific research & type design project examining the visual design identity of Belgium in the nineteenth and twentieth century, that breathes new life into Belgium’s historical typeface families.◊
